Originally known as Shuyuan Park, it was first established in 1959, covering an area of 3.5 hectares, and was rebuilt in 1985. The park is a leisure park for citizens with a classical garden as its keynote. This renovation takes the Asian Games as an opportunity, with "calligraphy" as the main thread, aiming to shape a "calligraphy research and education base" that returns to the humanistic landscape, immerses in cultural memory, and inherits and promotes calligraphy culture. The design is guided by the concept of "Shuyuan·Rhythm Traces," creating a journey to "trace" the culture of calligraphy.
