Project Description

The China Grand Canal Museum is located in the eastern part of the Three Bay Scenic Area. The building was designed by Academician Zhang Jinqiu of China Architecture Northwest Design and Research Institute. The main building resembles a ship sailing through waves, showcasing the 2500 year development history of the Grand Canal throughout the entire basin and throughout the entire period. It has become an important symbol of the construction of the Grand Canal National Cultural Park and is expected to open to the public in July next year.

The architecture and landscape of the China Grand Canal Museum, transformed into boats and water, are a symbiosis of the grand momentum of the Grand Canal running through the north and south, and the elegance of the Three Bays of Yangzhou.
