The Air Travel Park aims to build rapid transit traffic, green ecological agriculture, Fujian and Taiwan cultural and creative show, themed tourism development, to facilitate leisure services for the city, and airport passenger traffic between Fujian and Taiwan. This ecological and humanistic comprehensive park is the country's first air-travel connection park, and also a showcase for cultural exchanges shared by both sides of Fujian province and Taiwan province.

The design is based on the original ecological character of the site, integrating aviation elements, marine elements, Minnan culture, Fujian-Taiwan culture, regional characteristic industries, etc., and combining the leisure needs of young people in Xiamen and surrounding cities to create ecological leisure, cultural experience, The Haitian Travel Garden is a green humanistic highland integrating theme amusement, health and wellness, popular science education, and wisdom and innovation.
